Shay Jackson, born and raised in Nashville, Tn, is the founder of Chakra Shay. Her mission is to enlighten others about the chakra system and its powerful role in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Reiki Master, and a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher.

Shay graduated from Nashville School of Massage Therapy in November 2017 and completed her yoga teacher training in the summer of 2020. Her healing journey began way before 2015, however the devastating loss of her 19-year-old cousin led her to meditation for ruminating thoughts and Healing Touch for grief and depression.

Through her studies at Healing Beyond Borders and mentorship with Bonnie Johnson (CHTI}, Shay began offering community healing experiences. She co-created Soulful Sunday, a safe space for sharing crystals, herbs, chakra-based knowledge, and chakra healing with the community and The Gathering of the gods and goddesses, a safe space to release and set intentions related to the moon cycle. Today, she continues to host free chakra-based meditation sessions twice a month on Sundays at 3pm at the Edmondson Pike Branch Library in Nashville.

Shay is also the mother of a talented teenage artist whose work is featured in The Chakra Clothing line. Together, they continue to inspire others through art and healing. Shay is passionate about spreading awareness of Healing Touch, Reiki, Yoga, Chakra education, and the benefits of meditation.

As her mission grows, Shay envisions a dedicated brick and mortar healing center -a space where all forms of healing can come together under one roof: massage, energy healing, yoga, meditation, education, and community gatherings. She believes healing should be accessible and housed in a sacred space built with intention. She is currently seeking funding and community support to bring this vision to life.
